5:48am
After watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I do believe it is time for bed. Only now I’m faced with a bit of a dilemma. Undoubtedly I should be asleep right now. No question about it. But I’m not.
So do I go to sleep? It’s very close to 6:00am, and if I go to sleep now I won’t get up for at least 10 hours—4:00pm. Sleeping until then would totally screw up my sleep pattern and could take weeks to fix, weeks I don’t have since Friday after next I leave for a weeklong jaunt in Texas, then a week in Vegas.
So do I just stay awake, then? Pull an all-nighter, grab a cup of coffee in a few hours, maybe be productive throughout the day, and crash earlier than normal, only to STILL sleep in longer than I’d like (but admittedly not to 4:00pm)?
THIS IS WHAT MY BRAIN THINKS ABOUT AT THIS UNGODLY HOUR.
